March 2010 - Buyers Meeting Point is helping a member fill a Director of Procurement position. The organization is located in Central PA in the United States and is in the retail industry.
The Director of Purchasing is responsible for the procurement and re-supply activities of all "Not for Resale" (NFR) equipment, smallwares, supplies & services as required for the on going operation of 165 stores. He/she will provide all planning, budgeting, sourcing, procurement and scheduling of all fixtures, furnishings & equipment to support the companies Capital Development plan though the construction of new stores, expansions, and remodels of existing stores. Provide leadership to other staff within the department & perform duties to support the goals and objectives of the Store Development Team. This position reports to the Vice-President of Store Development.
