New Procurement Blog: “The Optimum” run by Emptoris

Emptoris’ new blog reaches out to all corporate influencers and decision makers – not just those that have already implemented the Emptoris solution.  This communication vehicle is separate from the client exchange blog already in place where current users share best practices and discuss use cases with development.

Kevin Potts, VP of marketing for Emptoris and main contributor to the blog, had this to say about the effort, “A recurring theme in [the Optimum] is the role of advanced technology in helping companies transform their procurement, supply management and contracting processes. …  I decided to contribute to the conversation with a voice that focuses on best practices in technology development, implementation, and adoption.”

While the blog is still new, Emptoris plans to expand over time by listening to feedback from blog followers and by leveraging the experiences of their internal teams.
