Recommended Webinars December 2-6: The Business of Trust and the Psychology of Change
Procurement isn’t leaving anything on the table as we wind down the year. I added 8 new webinars to the calendar this week and all of them take place between now and the third week of December. If you’re planning your webinar schedule a little further out, I recommend “5 Key Procurement Trends to Embrace in 2020” on December 11th at 5am ET (10am GMT) from riskmethods and Sievo.
BTW: If you haven’t already, sign up for our mailing list to be sure you get my weekly recommendations in your Inbox each Monday.
** Special event: the BidOps 'GoLive': Effective today, they are opening a waitlist for free users. If you get your name on the list now, not only are you in line for early access to their AI-enabled sourcing platform, your name will be entered into a drawing to have a donation made in your name to a charity from a select list. Beyond Implementation: Where Solution Providers' Real Work Should Begin (Scanmarket, Spend Matters)
December 3rd, 10am ET
Don’t even get me started on implementation… for all of the work that goes into selecting an eSourcing or eProcurement solution, far too many companies (and their providers) drop the ball during implementation. If you aren’t prepared to implement technology well, how can procurement expect to deliver ROI or maximize adoption? I love this caution from the event description… “Do not join the webinar if: You’ve implemented an eSourcing solution and you feel fully satisfied that you have squeezed every drop of value out of your eSourcing program.” (LOL)
December 3rd, 1pm ET
Contracts can’t breed trust, but they can create an environment where it can form, and they can preserve it if it already exists. In this webinar, Sally Hughes, Global CEO of IACCM, Bernadette Bulacan, Lead Legal Evangelist at Icertis, and Mohit Bhonde, Senior Product Manager at Icertis, will talk about the different kinds of trust supported by commercial contract performance, from operational efficiency to sustainability, governance and ethics.
The Psychology of Change (Myers-Briggs)
December 5th, 1pm ET
While this isn’t a procurement-specific webinar, who knows more about managing (and surviving) change than we do? In this event, Dr. Rachel Cubas-Wilkinson, Principal Organizational Development Consultant at The Myers-Briggs Company, will make the connection between better understanding people and more effectively leading them through change initiatives.
