What do you think of when you hear the word Visibility? According to the APICS dictionary, "Visibility is the ability to view important information throughout a facility or supply chain no matter where in the facility or supply chain the information is located." Visibility is essential for using information to replace inventory. Today's enterprises have multi-tiered networks of suppliers, trading partners, and customers, all of them playing a pivotal role in how that business brings their products to market. Companies now need inter-enterprise processes and visibility, and they need access to information that is not necessarily within their company. During this presentation,
St. Claire will discuss Supply Chain Visibility and the processes and tools manufacturers and retailers are using to more efficiently serve their customers
