September 6-10: BOLD Transformation, Tech-powered CWM, and CSR Improvement

AdobeStock_Clorox

This is only the 6th day of September, and there are already over 20 events in the calendar for this month – not to mention the ones I’ve already listed for October. We’re also going into a window of time where a few in-person events are scheduled around the world. Those are the purple/blue events in the monthly calendar view. If you attend an in-person event, reach out and let me know what it was like being back on the conference circuit!

If you are planning your procurement webinar schedule beyond this week, I recommend ‘Could Your Business Partners Be Offering More Risk Than Support?’ from Everest Group and Wavestone on September 30th.

If you haven’t already, sign up for our mailing list to be sure you get my weekly recommendations in your inbox each Monday.

Taking a BOLD and Focused Approach to Transforming Indirect P2P at Clorox (AOP, WNS Denali, The Clorox Company)

September 7th, 11am ET

I’ve always had a soft spot for case study events, and this AOP Live session gives us live access to Kathy Thrasher, a Senior Procurement Manager at The Clorox Company. They have just completed a procurement transformation that lives up to the company motto of leading with ‘head, heart, and guts.’ Join Philip Ideson from Art of Procurement and Mike Caldron, Senior Group Manager at WNS Denali, round out this conversational event.

Improving agility: driving change with tech-powered CWM and services procurement (Procurement Leaders, Guidant Global)

September 8th, 10am ET

Many of our teams have been ‘WFH’ for almost 2 years now, and that has resulted in many changes – some lasting and some not. But what kinds of implications has the global response to COVID had on contingent workforce management? Even the most mature VWM programs have an opportunity to reoptimize. Join Pamela Beard, Senior VP Technology and Project Management at Guidant Global, Marie France, VP of Client Services at BarPellam/Guidant Global, and Michael Toussaint, SVP & Director for U.S. Bank Corporate Procurement, for this services procurement-focused webinar.

Delivering Step Change Improvements in Corporate Social Responsibility (Ivalua, Forrester)

September 9th, 10am ET

Procurement has a huge opportunity to impact how companies connect with communities and special interest groups through the resources and relationships they offer, but very few organizations have made meaningful CSR progress. In this webinar, Duncan Jones, Forrester Principal Analyst, will share key insights from a new, global CSR study and Alex Saric, Chief Marketing Officer at Ivalua will share lessons learned from working with hundreds of the world’s most admired brands.
